Terms of use

1. Acceptance

By using zebitusa.com (the "Site") or submitting a loan request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Disclosures, which are part of them. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.

2. The service

Zebit USA operates a free loan-connection service: we transmit your request to lenders and pay-over-time providers in our network ("Lenders") that operate in your state, and display any offers they make. We are not a lender, do not make credit decisions, and are not a party to any loan agreement. We do not guarantee that you will receive an offer, or any particular amount, APR or term. Offers, agreements, funding, servicing and collection are solely between you and the Lender.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 (19 in Alabama and Nebraska), a U.S. resident, and submit a request only for yourself, using accurate, current information you are entitled to provide. One request per person at a time; you may not submit requests on behalf of others or use another person's identity or account.

4. Consent to electronic communications

By submitting a request you consent to receive disclosures, agreements, notices and communications from Zebit USA electronically, by email to the address you provide and by posting on the Site, and to sign documents electronically. You confirm you can access and retain electronic documents (a current browser and email account are sufficient). You may withdraw this consent or request a paper copy by emailing [email protected]; withdrawing consent may prevent us from processing your request. Lenders will obtain their own e-sign consent for the loan agreement.

Zebit USA does not make marketing calls or send marketing texts. Service emails about an open request may be sent until the request closes.

5. Your information

You represent that the information you provide is true and complete and authorize Zebit USA to transmit it to Lenders in our network and to verify it with service providers for identity and fraud prevention, as described in the Privacy Policy. Providing false information may be a crime and will result in rejection of your request.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; scrape, crawl or copy the Site other than through a public search engine; interfere with its security or operation; submit malicious code; misrepresent your identity; use the Zebit USA name, logo or domain to deceive anyone; or frame or mirror the Site. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. Intellectual property

The Site's text, design, images, code and the "Zebit USA" wordmark as used here are owned by or licensed to Zebit USA and protected by law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. All other use requires our written permission. Third-party names and marks (including Zebit, Inc., Perpay, Fingerhut, Katapult and Affirm) belong to their owners and are used for identification and comparison only; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

8. Lenders and third parties

Lenders are independent businesses. Their offers, agreements, disclosures, privacy notices and conduct are their own responsibility, and your rights and remedies regarding a loan are against the Lender under your agreement and applicable law. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". Educational content is general information, not financial, legal or tax advice; calculators produce estimates at the inputs you choose, not offers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zebit USA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any Lender will make an offer or that any offer will have particular terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zebit USA and its officers, employees and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or any Lender's acts or omissions, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to $100. Some states don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Disputes

Please contact us first at [email protected] with "Dispute" in the subject line; most issues are resolved within 15 days. If a dispute isn't resolved informally, these Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which you reside, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the dispute may be brought in the state or federal courts serving the county in which you reside, including small-claims court where eligible. Your loan agreement contains its own dispute provisions, which govern any dispute with the Lender.

12. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Zebit USA about the Site. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor. We may change these Terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date; material changes will be emailed where we have your address. Contact: [email protected]. Zebit USA is an online service; all notices under these Terms are accepted by email and acknowledged within one business day.
