Is Zebit legit?A fair question.
Here's the full answer.
Who is behind zebitusa.com, how we make money, why you've seen the name Zebit before, and the six checks you should run on us — and on any site that offers you a loan.
zebitusa.com is a legitimate loan-connection service. We send one request to licensed lenders who offer installment loans from $200 to $5,000; the lender you choose funds the loan and sets the terms. We are paid by lenders, never by you. We are not a lender, and we are not Zebit, Inc. — the San Diego company whose Zebit Market shopping platform stopped serving customers in 2024. If you came here looking for that account, start here.

A connection, not a lender
When you apply, we do one job: send your request to the lenders in our network that serve your state, and show you every offer that comes back with the same four numbers — APR, term, payment, total. You pick one, or none.
- We don't lend. The lender funds the loan, sets the APR and collects payments.
- We don't decide. Lenders approve or decline using your income, bank history and state rules.
- We don't charge you. Lenders pay us when a loan is made. That fee never changes your rate.
- We don't sell your request to the highest bidder. It goes to licensed lenders that can actually serve your state.
How to verify us — or anyone
- Find the disclosures.A real loan site says plainly whether it lends or connects, and who pays it. Ours are in every footer.
- Look for the four federal numbers.APR, finance charge, amount financed, total of payments — on every offer, before you sign.
- Check the fee to apply. It should be zero. A fee to apply, unlock or release funds is the single clearest scam signal.
- Check the credit pull.Soft to see offers; hard only after you accept one. The reverse is a red flag.
- Check the contact details.A monitored support address and stated hours. Ours: [email protected], Mon–Sat.
- Check the lender's license.Your agreement names the lender; look it up with your state's financial regulator or the NMLS Consumer Access site.

Red flags we'll never raise
Scammers borrow real brand names, including ours. If you see any of these from "Zebit", it isn't us — forward it to [email protected].
What we hold ourselves to
Plain-English disclosures on every page
Loan-connection service, not a lender, paid by lenders, not affiliated with Zebit, Inc. Said in full, in the footer, everywhere.
Read them →Numbers checked against public sources
Rates, terms and comparison figures are reviewed against lender rate sheets, the CFPB and state statutes, and dated on the page.
Editorial standards →Cheaper options, said out loud
If a credit-union loan, a payment plan or local assistance would cost less, we say so — even though it costs us the referral.
Alternatives →Asked before people apply
Is Zebit a real company?
zebitusa.com is operated by Zebit USA, a loan-connection service that submits your request to licensed lenders offering $200–$5,000 installment loans. We are not a lender and we are not affiliated with Zebit, Inc., the San Diego company behind the former Zebit Market shopping platform.
Is Zebit a scam?
No. We never charge you to apply, never ask for gift cards, wires or crypto, never ask for your bank password, and never run a hard credit check before you accept an offer. Any message claiming to be Zebit that does one of those things is a scam — report it to us.
Does Zebit still exist?
The original Zebit Market — the buy-now-pay-later shopping site run by Zebit, Inc. — stopped serving customers in 2024. zebitusa.com is a different service: we connect borrowers with installment lenders rather than selling products on credit. What happened to Zebit
Will Zebit hurt my credit score?
Seeing offers uses a soft inquiry that does not affect your score. A hard inquiry can only happen after you accept a specific lender's offer. Being declined, or declining every offer, leaves no mark.
How does Zebit make money?
Lenders in our network pay us when a borrower we refer takes a loan. You pay us nothing. That compensation does not change the APR or terms a lender offers you.
Where can I read real customer reviews?
On our reviews page, and we encourage you to search independent sites as well. Read the critical ones first — they tell you the most.
See what lenders can offer you
No fee to apply, soft credit check only, and nothing is binding until you sign with a lender you've been able to look up.
Checking your rate does not affect your credit score.
